Taiwan's two largest steel conglomerates, China Steel Corporation (CSC) and E-United Group, have launched a major partnership. CSC Group, including subsidiaries Dragon Steel and Chung Hung Steel, will process hot-rolled stainless steel for E-United's stainless steel subsidiary, Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco).

This collaboration is supporting Yusco’s extensive production line upgrade, a project valued at over NT$17 billion. During Yusco's hot rolling mill shutdown, CSC will take over, with an estimated total processing volume reaching up to 50,000 tons monthly over a period of six months.

CSC President Shou-Tao Chen confirmed that the assistance is based on industry mutual support. Market participants view this unprecedented cross-group cooperation as crucial for maintaining Yusco’s market position and strengthening the domestic steel industry's competitiveness.
