SÜLZLE Stahlpartner GmbH acquired Josef Fien GmbH of Bad Säckingen, effective February 1, 2026, to strengthen its market presence in southern Germany. Josef Fien, an established steel distributor and iron bending company, will become a branch office of SÜLZLE Stahlpartner, expanding the company’s nationwide network.

The acquisition unites two family-owned businesses with shared values of partnership, sustainability, and responsibility. Heinrich Sülzle, managing partner of the SÜLZLE Group, said the move provides access to a region with strong market potential, an experienced team, and expands the portfolio in stainless steel reinforcement, opening new market opportunities.

SÜLZLE Stahlpartner, which operates 19 locations across Germany, aims to broaden its services for alloyed reinforcing steel while promoting sustainable growth and securing jobs in Bad Säckingen. The combined team will provide construction companies and industrial clients in the border region with a reliable partnership and service network.
