Subsea7, a Luxembourg-based subsea engineering, construction, and services company serving the offshore energy industry, has been awarded a major contract by Saudi Aramco for an offshore pipeline project in Saudi Arabia, further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two companies.

The contract, valued between US$750 million and US$1.25 billion, highlights Subsea7’s key role in the country’s offshore energy infrastructure.

The project covers engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of 106 kilometers of infield and export pipelines, modifications to existing topside facilities, and associated tie-in works to integrate the new infrastructure.

Project management and engineering activities will start immediately from Subsea7’s offices in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with offshore operations scheduled for 2027-2028, in line with Aramco’s energy development plans.
