On July 26, Shaanxi Yuantailun Iron And Steel Co., Ltd. successfully launched its upgraded No. 1 rolling line, signifying a major step in the company's transformation and high-quality development.

This modernization project included a complete overhaul of the rolling mill heating furnace system, incorporating advanced energy-saving, environmental protection, and smart control technologies. New insulation materials and combustion techniques are expected to cut blast furnace gas consumption by about 35% and reduce nitrogen oxide emissions to meet national ultra-low emission standards.

The enhancements improve heating uniformity and reduce steel billet oxidation. Production capacity for hot-rolled products increases from 75,000 to 120,000 tons monthly, potentially generating an additional CNY 1.6 billion in annual output value. This upgrade also expands product specifications, allowing the company to better meet diverse market demands.
