Pakistan launches AD investigation into Chinese color-coated cold-rolled steel products

Pakistan’s National Tariff Commission (NTC) has initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into color-coated cold-rolled steel coils/sheets imported from China following a complaint filed by International Steels Limited on March 16, 2026. 

The dumping investigation covers imports from January to December 2025, while the injury investigation period spans from January 2023 to December 2025. 

The products involved include various coated steel products under HS codes 7210.7010, 7210.7020, 7210.7090, 7210.9010, 7210.9090, 7212.4010, 7212.4090, and 7225.9900. 

Pakistan authorities are expected to issue a preliminary ruling within 60 to 180 days from the launch of the investigation. Interested parties must register within 10 days of the notice publication and submit comments and supporting evidence within 45 days.
