Pacific Steel Group, a reinforcing steel producer based in San Diego, California, chose Danieli to install an advanced “ECO Primary Line” at its Hybrid MiDa Plant in California. This collaboration focuses on creating one of the world's most sustainable reinforcing steel manufacturing facilities.

The state-of-the-art solution will significantly reduce air emissions, targeting pollutants such as NOx, SOx, filterable and condensable particulate matter (PM), and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to achieve industry-leading values.

The new equipment also includes provisions for a future Carbon Capture System. The entire project is expected to be completed by the first half of 2027.
