Nucor Corporation, the largest steel producer in the US, raised its weekly consumer spot price (CSP) for hot-rolled coil (HRC) by US$10 per short ton to US$1,220 per short ton, marking the eighth consecutive week of price increases amid tight market supply.

California Steel Industries (CSI), Nucor's West Coast joint venture, similarly hiked its HRC spot price by US$10 per short ton to reach US$1,280 per short ton.

The latest adjustment brought Nucor's total monthly increase to US$30 per short ton from early September levels of US$1,190 per short ton. Domestic steel prices demonstrated sustained upward resilience, with quotations rising by more than US$300 per short ton since October 2025.
