The Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade issued a final determination on April 10, 2026, regarding cold-rolled steel products from Egypt.

Under notice DDC/05/2026, the government recommends anti-dumping (AD) duties to address unfair pricing. Kandil Steel Group faces a 60.40% duty rate, while all other Egyptian producers and exporters are subject to a higher duty of 84.39%.

This decision concludes an investigation initiated in October 2024, which analyzed trade data from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, and assessed domestic industry damage from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2024.
