Metro Mining Limited, an Australia-based exploration and mining company, announced that its Bauxite Hills Operation shipped 783,000 wet metric tonnes (WMT) in November, increasing by 6.5% compared to the preceding month.

The company achieved the result despite losing nearly three full days of transhipping operations due to unsafe conditions associated with Tropical Cyclone Fina and scheduled maintenance.

During the month, Metro also set a new capesize vessel loading record, moving 178,000 WMT onto the Zhi NV Star in 5.6 days.

The year-to-date 2025 shipments totaled 5.6 million WMT. Metro remains on schedule to meet its calendar year 2025 guidance of 6.2 to 6.6 million WMT.
