Krakatau Steel receives huge tube orders for Dusem gas project

The Indonesian company PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk has signed huge steel supply contracts with two customers through its subsidiary PT Krakatau Pipe Industries, offering about 80,000 tons of steel pipes for the Dusem gas project. 

The project, which is 541 kilometers long, is part of Indonesia's national strategic projects. The project started in 2025 and is planned to be finished by 2027. 

According to Krakatau Steel, to meet the needs of the mentioned pipeline project, the company will supply 10,000 tons of cold-rolled coils every month to PT Tata Metal Lestari for a whole year.
