Koil Energy Solutions, an energy services company, secured a substantial agreement in Brazil to execute its first subsea umbilical maintenance campaign within the deepwater market.

President and CEO Erik Wiik said that the milestone brings the firm's proven technology to the region, utilizing proprietary methods and specialized equipment to handle umbilical re-termination, testing, pull-in, removal, and replacement of elements like electrical cables, chemical injection, and hydraulic control lines.

Operations will run from Macaé with engineering backing from Houston, and the offshore work is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The company expects further service opportunities across the local market following the completion of this project.
