Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), India’s top stainless steel manufacturer, is nearing the launch of its 1650mm continuous annealing and pickling line. Wuhan Qianye recently finished assembling the project’s core three-stand tandem cold rolling mill at its Yangluo facility. This assembly completion represents a major breakthrough, enabling the next phases of installation and commissioning.

Designed to meet rising demand for high-end stainless steel strips, the new facility has an annual capacity of 1.1 million tons. The machinery enables large-scale production across the 200, 300, and 400 series stainless steel grades.

Once operational, this equipment will increase JSL’s total production volume and strengthen its competitive position within the global industry.
