Japan's automobile production reduces in Nov 2025 y-o-y

According to the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), Japan produced approximately 686,000 automobiles (including passenger cars, trucks, and buses) in November 2025, a 7.2% decrease from the same month in the previous year.

In November, domestic sales declined by 5.1% year-over-year, totaling about 370,000 units. From January to November 2025, sales reached 4.23 million units, a 3.4% increase over the previous year.

For exports, November shipments totaled approximately 354,000 vehicles, representing a 3.6% decrease year-over-year. In the first eleven months of 2025, exports reached 3.8 million units, marking a 0.3% decline compared to the same period last year.
