Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has initiated the production of specialized wheel products tailored for a Greek railway operator. Through a long-term agreement facilitated by local distributor Artemi, the company scheduled the supply of ten types of niche railway wheels. These wheels will be used for repairs of the client's rolling stock, including passenger carriages, freight cars, and locomotives.

Production commenced this spring, manufacturing passenger wheels with a 750-mm diameter and locomotive wheels with a 1,016-mm diameter. Interpipe already shipped five product sizes as of early July.

Senior sales manager Niklas Eriksson said that adapting to shifting designs and fulfilling small batches of custom items remains essential for maintaining their established presence in the Greek rolling stock market.
