International crude oil prices decline on Dec 30

International crude oil prices edged lower on December 30 amid thin year-end trading, market concerns over a global crude surplus, and complex geopolitical tensions.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for February delivery decreased by US$0.13 (0.22%), reaching US$57.95 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for February delivery fell by US$0.02 (0.03%) to US$61.92 per barrel.
