India imposes AD duty on China’s roller chains

The Indian Ministry of Finance's Revenue Department has announced the imposition of a five-year anti-dumping (AD) duty on roller chains originating in or imported from China, following a positive final ruling by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on December 26, 2024.

The AD duty, calculated on a CIF basis, applies to all Chinese producers except for certain specified manufacturers, including Zhejiang Bakord Machinery Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Hengjiu Chain Transmission Co., Ltd., Anhui Huangshan Hengjiu Chain Transmission Co., Ltd, and Zhejiang Hengjiu Transmission Technology Co., Ltd., which are exempted. The duty rate for other Chinese producers ranges from 0 to 6.34%.

The products involved are classified under HS code 73151100.
