Global primary aluminum production totaled 6.294 million tons in October, an increase from 6.077 million tons in the previous month and a rise from 6.258 million tons in the same month last year, according to the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) data.

In the month, the global daily average output of primary aluminum was 203,000 tons, increasing from 202,600 tons in the previous month.

In China, the estimated primary aluminum production in October was 3.766 million tons, up from the 3.644 million tons in September. Production in other regions of Asia was 415,000 tons, rising from 400,000 tons in the previous month.
