Hi-Tech Pipes Limited has launched commercial operations at its fifth manufacturing site in Kathua, Jammu. This greenfield facility adds 80,000 tons to the company's annual output, raising its total capacity to 930,000 tons.

The unit specializes in ERW steel pipes, coated steel, and other value-added steel products. By targeting infrastructure and water projects across Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh, the company aims to improve its profitability.

Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Kumar Bansal said that this expansion strengthens their northern presence and aligns with a strategy to prioritize value-added offerings. The Kathua plant is expected to provide meaningful financial contributions starting mid-Q4 FY26, joining existing operations in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
