Fujian Metallurgical Industry Design Institute secured a design contract for a 1.5-million-ton high-quality steel production line project in Kazakhstan. This agreement represents a major step forward for the company in expanding into Central Asian overseas markets through China-Kazakhstan capacity and investment cooperation.

The institute will utilize its metallurgical engineering expertise to expedite the facility's construction. By exporting established Chinese metallurgical processes and standardized construction frameworks, the project addresses local industrial supply chain gaps and drives manufacturing upgrades in Central Asia.

Moving forward, the state-owned enterprise plans to implement these construction standards to deliver international steel engineering projects and enhance its comprehensive overseas industrial services.
