EMSTEEL rebar mill resumes production after upgrade

2 Dec 2025 15:23 reported by Joy Liu

EMSTEEL, a leading steel and building materials manufacturer in the UAE, successfully completed an upgrade of its rebar mill in Abu Dhabi by replacing the entire Twin Channel system that was initially provided by Danieli in 2006.

Managed by Danieli Service, the project involved the replacement of all 30 modules during a single, tightly planned shutdown. Despite the required high-precision alignment (within 0.5 mm over 90 m), the 24-hour operation was completed one day ahead of the 23-day schedule.

After a quick dismantling and installation process, the plant successfully rolled its first billet on September 16, 2025. This incident-free collaboration immediately restored full production, enhancing the mill's efficiency.
