China’s Xinhuang Metal Materials’ stainless steel cold rolling project approved in Lianping

On November 5, the Lianping Branch of the Heyuan Ecological Environment Bureau announced the approval of the environmental impact assessment for the Lianping County Xinhuang Metal Materials Co., Ltd. project.

The project involves establishing a cold rolling production line for high-grade precision stainless steel sheets and strips, with a planned annual capacity of 96,000 tons. Total investment for the project is CNY 100 million.

The facility will be constructed within an existing production workshop in Youxi Town, Lianping County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province. Upon completion, the line will produce a mix of stainless steel grades, including 201, 304, 430, and 410 cold-rolled medium-wide strips, as well as Q235 carbon steel strips.
