CAP sells Tubos Argentinos for $24.4 million

In a document submitted on January 14, 2026, to the Argentine Financial Market Commission, Nicolás Burr García de la Huerta, CEO of the Chilean steelmaker CAP, confirmed the sale of its asset in Argentina.

Specifically, 100% of the shares of Tubos Argentinos, CAP's subsidiary in Argentina, are being sold to Ternium Argentina for US$24.4 million.

This transaction will have a consolidated cash flow effect of approximately US$22 million for CAP, allowing the Chilean steelmaker to strategically reallocate the capital to use in other areas of its core business.
