Brazil’s pig iron exports grow by 2.4% in Sep m-o-m

According to statistics from Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil’s pig iron exports amounted to around 295,000 tons in September, increasing by 2.4% compared to the previous month.

In the month, the exports were mostly to the US, totaling around 229,000 tons. European countries received a total of roughly 27,000 tons, followed by Mexico with 22,000 tons.

The deliveries in September were mainly shipped by suppliers in the Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, where a total of approximately 194,000 tons were shipped.
