Australia issues final AD ruling on surface finished aluminum extrusions from Malaysia

Australia decided to extend anti-dumping (AD) duties on surface finished aluminum extrusions from Malaysia, starting June 3, 2026. The Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science approved the final sunset review findings.

LB Aluminium Bhd and Milleon Extruder Sdn Bhd remain subject to duties via a floor price mechanism. Conversely, the government ended measures against Kamco Aluminium Sdn Bhd and Superb Aluminium Industries Sdn Bhd.

This review began in June 2025 after a petition from Capral Limited. The inquiry analyzed dumping activities between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, with injury assessments dating back to April 1, 2021.

The subject goods fall under HS codes 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13.
