Following Flat Steel Export and Industry Association (YİSAD)’s 12th Ordinary General Assembly Meeting on May 8, 2026, at the Kavacık Trade Center in Turkey, Ahmet Özkan has been elected as the new President of the association. 

Özkan, who also serves as Chairman of Dempaş Demir, takes over the presidency. The same meeting confirmed new members for the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.

In the new leadership team, Metin Tayfun İşeri and Ahmet Soybaş were chosen as vice presidents. Murat Eryılmaz became general secretary, and Hakkı Can Şaylan took on the role of accountant.
