EU starts AD investigation on aluminum converter foil from China

On October 22nd, the EU started an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on China's aluminum converter foil of a thickness of less than 0.021mm, not backed, not further worked than rolled, in response to the applications of six local companies representing more than half of the total output.

The products involved are under CN code ex 7607 11 19 (TARIC codes 7607 11 19 60 and 7607 11 19 91).

The period of dumping and damage investigation was from July 1st, 2019 to June 30th, 2020, and the injury analysis period covered a period from January 1st, 2017 to the end of the investigation period.
