According to the preliminary determination of countervailing duty (CVD) announced by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), Turkish producers and exporters of prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) were subject to the preliminary subsidy rates from 14.44% to 135.06%.

The USDOC initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on PC strands from 15 countries in May and a CVD investigation on the product from Turkey, based on the complaint filed by Insteel Wire Products Company, Sumiden Wire Products Corporation (SWPC), and Wire Mesh Corporation on April 16, 2020.

The final CVD ruling was scheduled to be announced by the USDOC before December 1.
