Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), a premium aluminum producer based in the UAE, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt to invest US$4 billion in a new primary aluminum production plant. The facility, planned for the Tulsa Port of Inola on more than 350 acres, will become the largest of its kind in the US.

The plant will produce aluminum ingots, billets, high-purity aluminum, and foundry alloys, and it is expected to double US domestic aluminum output. In addition, the project will also generate 1,000 direct and 1,800 indirect jobs, raising Oklahoma's manufacturing job creation potential.

The agreement is contingent upon approval from the Oklahoma Legislature.
