A A A
On January 14, 2025, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced the initiation of a circumvention investigation to determine whether standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico, which is completed in the US from low-carbon steel wire produced in Mexico, circumvents anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on wire mesh from Mexico.

The investigation was launched based on requests submitted by Keysteel Corp., Mid-South Wire Company, National Wire LLC, Oklahoma Steel & Wire Co., and Wire Mesh Corp.

The USDOC is scheduled to issue its preliminary circumvention determination within 150 days from the date of the publication of this notice.
