Acciaierie Venete, an Italy-based producer of long steel products, has ordered a second straightening line from Danieli Centro Maskin for its Padova Works in Italy.

Designed for high efficiency, the new fully automated, high-productivity straightening line can process SBQ black bars with diameters up to 200 mm and maximum yield strength of 1350 N/mm2, while achieving energy consumption savings of up to 15% and shortening set-up times.

Complying with Industry 4.0 standards, it can integrate Danieli digital systems (D-CMS – Danieli Condition Monitoring System) at any time to improve the overall process efficiency, eliminate unplanned maintenance, and optimize spare parts procurement and associated investments.
