Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco), a leading stainless steel mill in Taiwan, announced it would take a bargaining way based on the price and quantity in September for the October offers.

Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd., another major stainless steel manufacturer in Taiwan, kept the price of 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled products unchanged for October.

The price adjustments of the two producers were basically in line with market expectations.

Market participants believed the fourth quarter is a traditional peak season for stainless steel replenishment. Both Yusco and Tang Eng are likely to benefit from hotter buying if nickel prices continue to rebound in the future.
