US institutes first AD & CVD sunset reviews on refillable stainless steel kegs from China, Mexico

10 Sep 2024 16:04 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
On September 3, 2024, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced the launch of the first anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) sunset reviews on refillable stainless steel kegs from China and the first AD investigations on the same products from Mexico.

Meanwhile, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) instituted the first AD and CVD reviews on the subject products from the two countries to determine whether revoking the existing AD and CVD orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US domestic industry within a reasonably foreseeable time.

The interested parties should file their responses to the USITC on or before October 3, 2024, and the comments on the adequacy of responses should be filed by November 12, 2024.
