Per China customs data, the total stainless steel export volume for 2023 was about 2.69 million tons, 65% of the export was to 10 countries including India, Russia, Vietnam, and Taiwan ranked sixth with a share of 5%.

Among Taiwan's stainless steel flat products imports, Indonesia ranked first with about 654,000 tons while China followed with about 182,000 tons.

Indonesia now jumped as the biggest exporter of Taiwan's stainless steel imports.
