From January to October, China's stainless steel imports totaled about 1.67 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 39.42%. The total export volume was 3.4445 million tons, decreasing by 8.39% from the same period a year ago.

In October 2023, China's stainless steel imports were around 284,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 22.80% and a year-on-year decrease of 8.59%. Meanwhile, China's stainless steel export volume totaled 337,000 tons, slightly decreasing by 1.91% month on month and increasing by 13.76% year on year.
