WTO extends deadline for China & Japan’s AD disputes over stainless steel products

The World Trade Organization (WTO) said yesterday (November 1) that it has extended China’s deadline to adopt WTO rules to May 8, 2024, in a lawsuit filed by Japan regarding anti-dumping (AD) measures on stainless steel products.

According to the document from the WTO, China and Japan have reached an agreement on the timeline for China’s implementation of the recommendations and rulings about disputes over stainless steel products between the two countries.
