Global stainless steel market warming up

17 Apr 2023 15:58 reported by Joy Liu

Asian regions, including Taiwan, are now increasing stainless steel prices after China’s market has picked up, and this momentum will also expand to the European and North American markets.

In the US, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) recently grew more positively than expected, which boosted the commodity market, in spite of some challenges in the US economy.

China’s spot market prices and the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) stainless futures have already been rising for several days, and nickel prices in both Europe and Asia have also hiked, showing a gradually stronger price tendency in the global markets.
