India imposes AD duty on China’s stainless steel seamless tubes

22 Dec 2022 17:09 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
India has decided to impose an anti-dumping (AD) duty on stainless steel seamless tubes and pipes imports originating in, or exported from China, for a period of five years from the date of the official publication, because the subject goods were being sold at prices below normal values and caused the material injury.

The AD duty rate ranges from US$114/ton to US$3,801/ton, imposed on products involved in this case, under Indian tariffs code 7304.

The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) launched this AD investigation at the request of domestic producers Chandan Steel Limited, Tubacex Prakash India Private Limited, and Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited.
