It’s reported that Taiwanese single-rolling mills are going to release the wire rod price for June after China Steel Corp. (CSC)’s price announcement.

CSC announced to remain its list prices of steel wire and bar flat at NT$26,800/ton for June last week. Besides, the company also kept its list prices of electric furnace (EF) Al-killed wire rod flat at NT$25,000/ton for May.

However, industry sources indicated that Taiwanese single-rolling mills such as Yieh Hsing and Quintain Steel might hike the list prices of wire rod for May due to surged prices of oil and electricity.
