Japanese H2 scrap prices to South Korea drop
Recently, the transaction prices of the Japanese H2 scrap to South Korea have decreased to ￥32,000~￥32,500/ton FOB, affected by soft Japanese scrap market.
It’s known that Tokyo Steel’s continuous price cut in scrap have impacted the Japanese domestic market.
At present, South Korean Hyundai Steel is the major buyers of Japanese scrap. The company previously purchased 5,000 tons of scrap from Japan with prices of ￥32,500/ton FOB.
Besides, South Korean SeAH Besteel purchase Japanese Shindachi Scrap with prices of ￥37,000/ton C&F on April 18th.
