Taiwanese H section steel producer continue to raise prices
Reportedly, the Taiwanese H section steel producers notified customers to raise the prices by NT$400/ton to NT$25,900~NT$27,400/ton from this week, in response to higher oil and electricity prices.
It’s known that the surging oil and electricity prices have caused the Taiwanese steelmakers suffer from the pressure of high input costs.
The steel long product makers in Taiwan have increased the rebar and small section steel by NT$300/ton from this week.
Moreover, the Taiwanese H section steel producers planned to hike the prices by another NT$400/ton in the end of this month, aiming to reflect the increased input costs completely.
