Taiwan’s March steel export values decrease by 3.6% y-o-y

Taiwan’s export values of iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel totaled US$1.63 billion in March, falling by 3.6% year on year, according to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Finance.

Meanwhile, the country’s export values of iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel amounted to US$4.54 billion in the first three months of this year, down slightly by 0.1% year on year.

In the first three months of this year, Taiwan’s imports values of iron and steel and articles made from iron and steel totaled US$3.1 billion, decreasing by 15.7% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
