Japan’s rolled aluminum product output down by 6% y-o-y in last December
According to data released by Japanese Aluminum Association, Japan’s monthly production of rolled aluminum products, including flat and extruded products dropped by 6% year on year to 159,845 tons in last December.
At the same, the country’s shipments of rolled aluminum products declined by 6.1% year on year to 157,497 tons in last December.
Meanwhile, Japan’s exports of rolled aluminum products totaled 13,668 tons in last December, decreasing by 23.8% year on year, especially the sharp dip in Southeast Asia due to floods in Thailand.
