LME nickel prices surges substantially by US$1,425/ton on Oct. 3rd

It’s reported that the nickel prices at LME surged substantially by US$1,425/ton on October 3rd after it slumped to US$18,000/ton last week.

The nickel prices in three months delivery surged by US$1,425/ton to reach US$19,025/ton; the spot nickel prices soared by US$1,424/ton to US$18,994/ton and the nickel inventory was at 97,074 tons on October 3rd.

However, the stainless steel market has still remained sluggish despite of the sharply rebounded nickel prices.
