Chinese JISCO’s stainless steel production increases in 2010
According to report, China’s Jiuquan Iron and Steel (JISCO) reported its stainless steel production has increased by 58% to 843 thousand in2010. The output rise was from its commission of its second stage expansion.
Meanwhile, the company’s finished stainless steel production have also raised by 57% 789 thousand tons last year; however, there is no data to show the quantity for each grade as it produces 200, 300 and 400 series of hot rolled coil and cold rolled coil.
Also, its total crude steel production, including carbon steel, has also jumped by 13% to 8.856 million tons last year and its sales revenue has hiked by 36% to RMB55 billion and sales profit was reported at RMB1.2 billion.
