Turkey to become important trade channel for Iran
|
It’s reported that Iran have been facing serious shortage of steel due to severe economic sanctions made by western countries.
It’s known that trade relationship between Iran and Turkey has become closer and closer over the past ten years.
Iran is the largest gold exporter to Turkey while Turkey was the only one importer of Iranian oil in the European region.
It’s noticed that Turkey’s exports of steel products to Iran have continued rising recently.
Besides, the steel mills in Ukraine, Russia and Europe have exported steel products to Iran through Turkey as they can’t export the products directly to Iran.
Affected by these factors, Turkey has become an important trade channel for Iran currently.
