Japanese exports of CR steel coils, plates fall in June
|
According to statistics released by the Ministry of Finance, Japan exported 264,029 tons of cold rolled (CR) steel coils and plates in June, falling by 13.3% from a month earlier and decreasing by 20.3% year on year.
In the first half of this year, the country’s exports of CR steel coils and plates totaled 1.6 million tons, declining by 19.5% in comparison of that in the same period of a year earlier.
In the given period of time, China was the largest importer of the Japanese CR steel coils and plates with 539,754 tons, dropping by 14.6% and Indonesia was the second largest one with 207,520 tons, dipping by 4.8%, both compared to that in the same period of the previous year.
