Indian Sesa Goa plans to cut iron ore output by 18%
|
Sesa Goa, India's largest producer and exporter of iron ore planned to cut its iron ore output by 18% to 45 million tons due to lack of infrastructure.
As a result, it may lead India’s iron ore export t to decease further.
India was the world’s third largest iron ore supplier; however, the country’s iron ore exports have slumped by around 50% due to the government’s high export duty on iron roe, high transportation fee and slow demand from China.
