DoT in Abu Dhabi welcomes bids for new Abu Dhabi and Dubai road project

It’s reported that the Department of Transport (DoT) in Emirate of Abu Dhabi said that it was soliciting local and international bids from all qualified contractors for Package B of the new Abu Dhabi and Dubai road project.
The new road will consist of 62km of dual carriageway stretching the current E311 from the western border at Seih Shuoaib, through Al Maha Forest and Khalifa Port Industrial Zone (B).
The Procurement & Contracts division of the DoT at Al Bateen Towers in Abu Dhabi will collect the tender documents and the last date for tender collection is August 16th 2012.
Meanwhile, October 21st 2012 would be the deadline for accepting the bids.
