South European deformed steel bar export prices rise
|
Reportedly, the prices of deformed steel bars have increased in South European market and the export prices have soared accordingly, driven by rising scrap prices.
It´s known that the Spanish steel mills’ export quotes of deformed steel bars produced in September are at US$505~US$510/ton FOB and the actual transaction prices have surged to US$505~US$505/ton FOB.
The steelmakers said that the increasing scrap prices and stable demand have pushed up the deformed steel bar prices.
