Ukraine’s H1 scrap exports up by 1.5%

According to statistics released by the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company (UGMK), Ukraine exported 315,840 tons of scraps in the first half of this year, increasing by 1.5% year on year.
In June alone, the country’s scrap exports totaled 59,450 tons, falling by 17.8% from a month earlier.
In the first six months of this year, Ukraine’s exports of pig iron totaled 876,230 tons, surging by 15.9% year on year. In June, the country’s exports of pig iron were at 143,380 tons, decreasing by 15.9% from May.
